4-Nitro-DL-phenylalanine is an intermediate used to prepare 2,6-quinolinyl derivatives as potent VLVIP(LA)4/VCAM-1 antagonists. It is also used in the synthesis of 5-Substituted Tryptamines and with potential anti-migraine properties.
