1-Chloro-2-nitrobenzene-d4 is the labeled version of 1-Chloro-2-nitrobenzene (C367105), which is a useful synthetic intermediate. It was used in the synthesis of 1-hydroxybenzotriazole derivatives. Reaction of 1-chloro-2-nitrobenzene with dinitrogen pentoxide in dichloromethane is strongly catalysed by H-Faujasite-720.
