H-Lys(Boc)-OtBu is used to prepare BINOL-amino acid conjugates as triggerable carriers of DNVIP(LA)targeted potent photocytotoxic agents. It is also used to synthesize amino acid-derived dithiobisbenzamides with anti-HIV activities.
